Funcom revealed some new video footage this week that showcases the new open-world for Conan Exiles. You can check out the new gameplay footage in the player below.
In the world of the game, players will have to brave brutal standstorms that can peel the skin off your body, and enemies that will attack your city walls. Players can also enslave thralls to defend their while they are offline, and they can also summon powerful avatars to help them survive.
Also in a new developer blog, creative director Joel Bylos commented on the game: “If there ever was a world that would truly test your ability to survive, it’s the world of Conan. His world is vast, beautiful, and full of opportunity, but it’s also a world that will stop at nothing to slit your throat and see you bleed out at the feet of your enemies. Survival in ‘Conan Exiles’ is more than staying fed and hydrated; here you must defend against sandstorms, bloodthirsty cannibals, and players sending towering god avatars to crush your settlements.”
Conan Exiles is a new open-world survival game. It’s due to arrive on PC Early Access on January 31. It will then hit Xbox One via Early Game Preview in Spring 2017.
