Shin Megami Tensei V Still In “Early Development”
Any word on Shin Megami Tensei V? What’s the status of the game?
The Nintendo Switch has been doing very well on the 3rd party gaming front. As more and more 3rd party developers are pledging to bring games to the console, if they haven’t done so already. One of the biggest games that’s been announced is Shin Megami Tensei V, being made by Atlus.
The team behind the game talked with 4Gamer, and noted that the reason players haven’t seen any footage is because the game doesn’t really have anything to show. Rather, it’s still in early development. This is the first time in some time that Shin Megami Tensei has been on a console, and given the high-profile nature of it, they don’t want to screw it up. The team asks for patience as they make it, and promise that once it’s ready, they’ll let you know.
I unfortunately haven't got into the series just yet, but it does look pretty promising. I hope it is able to have some good features and gameplay when it is done and released.
