Batman Title From TellTale Games Gets New Details! Voice Cast Revealed!

by on June 12, 2016

Brand new details has come out about the upcoming TellTale Games title starring Batman and his cast of characters. Described as a “living comic book” the game not only got a detailed description, but a full breakdown of the voice cast that we can expect.

The reveal came at E3, and it came with some veterans of the Batman games coming to this new title. Including, Troy Baker (The Last of Us) as Bruce Wayne, Laura Bailey (Tales From the Borderlands) as Selina Kyle, Travis Willingham (Ratchet & Clank) as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette (Oxenfree) as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel (Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots) as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer (Red Dead Redemption) as Lieutenant James Gordon, and Richard McGonagle (Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End) as Carmine Falcone.

“We’ve been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature ‘Tellltale’ role-playing experience, and we couldn’t be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer.”

The first episode is set to hit this Summer.

I see that it's all the same cast as Tales from the Borderlands. 😛 Not that I mind, those voice actors are amazing!

I am not excited by this at all, but I do hope to be proven wrong. Batman has always been my favorite super-hero (well, aside from Deadpool and Spider-man) mainly because he doesn't really have a super-power. And while that makes his concept a bit different from the majority of super-heros, Batman is still action-oriented guy and I'm just not sure how it'll translate into a Telltale game.

I just hope they are able to do on emerging different this time. As good as the recent games are it has become a bit monotonous to me and I wouldn't mind seeing a drastic change or at least maybe just a spin off version that can be a bit more experimentational.

Yes, you are right. The voice actors make an important part of the game and that is the 'voice'. Without it, the developers will not be able to complete the game.

I am sure you would see a drastic change that you talked abut and that would definitely make the game more interesting.

Hopefully. With the current versions it seems to have stagnated as they have figured out a formula that works, but I know it's probably mostly just me that is complaining since I see a lot of good reviews for the new versions still.
