Golf Story And Yooka-Laylee Being Given Physical Versions

What’s the next games coming out from Limited Run Games? Maybe Golf Story?

Limited Run Games brings digital titles from indie developers that couldn’t afford to go to physical versions and gives them that opportunity. Now, two more games are getting physical treatment for the Switch. In this case, Golf Story and Yooka-Laylee. Here’s the breakdown from the team:

As of about 10 days ago, Best Buy has finally confirmed their orders with us for Yooka-Laylee, Golf Story, and an upcoming game (which has not been announced by us at all – rest assured it is not a past title or something that is currently available from us). Best Buy will not be carrying Broken Age, Outlast, Layers of Fear or any of our past or current PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita titles.

The deal with Best Buy took a while to finalize, but was locked in right before we placed our final order for Golf Story and Yooka-Laylee with Nintendo. We were hoping to wait to make our announcement of this alongside Best Buy, but have decided to announce it now to get in front of all of the news stories circulating about this partnership.

Golf Story has been a big success for Nintendo, and getting out in physical form will likely continue that.
