The Elder Scrolls Free Update Trailer Launches This Week! Find Out More Here!

Bethesda Softworks has announced the first major and free update for The Elder Scrolls online for 2017. This marked by the major DLC launch, Homestead. This is a free update for the game that enables players to buy apartments, homes, manors, and even an island in the realm of Tamriel. The DLC is available now for PC and Mac players. It will then hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this month.

The new homes players can buy are available in-game Gold and through the Crown Store. These homes can also be customized with more than 2,000 decorating items, including furniture, decor, books, barrels and more.

Players will be able to customize their new home in-game using the Housing Editor. More furniture and other decor for their digital home will be available through in-game vendors and the Crown Store. Players can also craft their own items using their existing crafting skills. Decorations that will be available include tables, chairs, chests, beds, bars, counters as well as decorating items like books, food, barrels, paintings, light fixtures, plants, trees, and more. Other items players can also place in the homes are items like combat dummies, crafting tables and assistants.

Homestead will also arrive for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players of The Elder Scrolls Online on February 21.
