With two weeks until the launch of Mass Effect Andromeda, fans and critics are asking more and more questions about what the game will be like, and what will come after. It’s not a surprise that DLC is assured for the game, and Bioware has said as such that it’ll happen in some capacity. But now, via a Twitter question, we do know that the DLC will include maps for the multiplayer portions of the game.
This comes from Bioware General Manager Aaron Flynn, who was asked by someone on Twitter whether multiplayer DLC would be free like Mass Effect 3’s was. This was his response:
@DJSrules @N7Follower @DiscoBabaloo It’s going to be just like ME3

This will no doubt be a big relief to some players, as maps for some games are considered paid content, and thus must be purchased. Whereas here, it’s just a part of the game.
Mass Effect Andromeda releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on March 21st.
