by on March 4, 2016

The wait is almost over. During this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed a new upcoming Atlus crossover RPG game that features a crossover of the popular Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei franchises. It’s now been confirmed with the title of Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE. You can check out the official reveal for the game in the player below at about 10:35 of the presentation. The game will receive a US release for the Nintendo Wii U this June.

Nintendo confirmed that due to the game’s setting in Tokyo, Japan, the North American release will retain it’s original Japanese language track along with English subtitles. It’s a game inspired by Atlus’ Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei series. The game was first announced in 2013 and is known to fans in Japan as Genei Ibun Roku #FE.

The game looks like it will be a nice slice of Japanese culture. It will feature songs from music idols and even some amusing looking in-game commercials that look to be interspersed throughout the levels.

So all the time fans have waited for the game looks like it’s finally paying off. Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE arrives on June 24 for the Nintendo Wii U console in North America.
