Dark Souls 3 has finally arrived this week. To mark the occasion Bandai Namco Games has released the launch trailer for Dark Souls 3 for the game, which is available now in the player below. The “Ash Seeketh Embers” video features some new gameplay footage. Be forewarned because the game does feature some potential story spoilers. Watch the video at your own risk.

It looks like the game has atmosphere and ambiance to spare. There is something very unsettling and creepy about all the phantoms and monsters roaming about. FromSoftware really looks like it’s been uncompromising in its unique vision for this franchise, and so far it has paid off well. But the monsters and boss fights look no less amazing. The story continues to look dark and intriguing. It will be interesting to see what FromSoftware will do with the franchise next after it finally enters the next console generation. But the video makes it look totally epic with the line, “And so it is, that ash seeketh embers.”

Players will finally be able to embrace the darkness this week because the wait for the latest installment of the franchise is finally over. Dark Souls 3 is out today. The game is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
