Overwatch Has Revealed It Last Hero In Current Game
Is the next hero the last for Overwatch? If so, why?
One of the things that has made Overwatch so much fun over the years is that Blizzard continues to bring in new characters to enhance the game and its world. And now, we’ve gotten our newest hero introduction in Echo, a character that was teased a few reveal videos back via Ashe’s arrival. Anyway, in an interview with IGN Nordic, Jeff Kaplan noted that Echo will be the last character in the game until the sequel arrives.
“We don’t know yet when Overwatch 2 will release, but since Echo will be the last hero for the base Overwatch game, we don’t expect it will take years until the game sees the light of day,” Kaplan said.
