Black Desert Online Turns Four, Launches Charity Drive

How old is Black Desert Online? Not old enough to shave or drink, but old enough to get a special video? You can watch a little sketch below by Carbot Animation celebrating BDO’s anniversary, but that’s not the main attraction this week…

This is the week Pearl Abyss partners with Kakao Games to launch a charity drive for wildlife conservation. Look for the “Save The Wildlife” event in Black Desert Online this week; any contributions you make will support the World Wildlife Fund for Nature. More information on the charity drive can be found at this link.

What else is happening? The “Suppressed Boss Gear” event is now live. Participating is inevitable; Adventurers who reach levels 56 through 58 will automatically receive a new and powerful weapon. Stronger armor is also obtainable, but it’s not automatic…you’ll have to complete a series of challenges first, like slaying monsters or defeating summoned bosses.

Finally, Pearl Abyss is now offering a seven-day free trial for Black Desert Online. Newcomers can head to this page on the official BDO website to sign up, as well as find out about future events coming soon to the game.
