Warframe will continue its scheduled October update, Abyss of Dagath plus a winter rollout called Whispers in the Wall. The informational video was released at the annual TennoCon 2023.
With Warframe celebrating its tenth anniversary, TennoCon 2023 showcased the upcoming Cinematic Quest dubbed “Whispers in the Walls” coming in Winter 2023 as well as an impressive cinematic quest coming in October
According to the video, The Abyss of Dagath update introduces the 54th character, Dagath: a Faceless Rider and horror-themed Dojo. In addition to her Warframe abilities, she is capable of wielding a blade and whip.
Notwithstanding, it’s important to note that there are two big Quality of Life updates for fans to look forward to. The first is the complete reworking of companions, which will make them more loyal and ensure their return in gameplay will be determined by game activity.
In addition, the second announcement is Hydroid rework, featuring a brand-new ability that makes them more competitive in the Warframe meta. Another exciting announcement, but one with a caveat, is that Warframe will be getting cross-save soon.
During the October update, Digital Extremes will prepare Warframe for Cross-Save. The studio expects the feature to be out before the end of 2023. However, it is taking the necessary steps to prepare it
Moreover, there was a lot to look forward to during TennoCon 2023. One of the highlights was a sneak peek at the Whispers in the Walls cinematic quest for Warframe, as well as a gameplay preview of Soulframe.
Plus, there have been some details released on Soulframe, and it seems like it’s something Warframe players should keep an eye on. Digital Extremes has a strong timeline for updates, including Warframe:1999 and Warframe: Mobile.
