After a five-month delay, Hogwarts Legacy will finally make its way to the Nintendo Switch. the game which was scheduled for a July 15 release, was postponed to November 14, 2023. A new gameplay trailer has been released to the Switch to give users a sneak preview before the game’s full rollout on November 14.
Since February 2023, PlayStation 5 and Xbox users have been enjoying Hogwarts Legacy on their PC and PlayStation 4 devices. Nintendo Switch users have been waiting since November 14.
According to data released on Steam, the game has been a record-breaker since its launch. Besides being listed among the top selling games of 2023, it has become Warner Brothers.’ biggest game launch ever, Hogwart’s Legacy has sold 15 million units and grossed more than a billion dollars. In the first two weeks alone it generated over 850 million dollars in revenue.
There was some controversy surrounding the release of the game, as many gamers boycotted it due to J.K. Rowling’s anti-transgender views.
Wizarding World: Hogwarts Legacy is a 2023 action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games, part of the Wizarding World series. The game is set in the late 1800s, a century before the events of Harry Potter.
Switch users can access the game trailer from the console port or may take a watch it here. The full game will be available on November 14, less than a week away.
