The Division’s Open Beta Is Finally Confirmed! Find Out the Details Right Here!

by on February 9, 2016

If you wanted to play The Division ahead of its upcoming release next month, you will have your chance. Ubisoft has officially announced that there will be an open beta test for the new online, third-person shooter this month. The open beta will be available for the game on all the platforms it will be released for. However, Xbox One will get access to the open beta first on February 18. The beta then hits PlayStation and Windows PC a day later (Feb. 19).

Unfortunately, it will be a short period for the open beta. The pre-release period for the open beta will officially end on February 21. Pre-load for the beta for players will start on February 16, and gamers can pre-load the beta for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

The beta will have all the content that was playable from the closed beta test. In addition, it will have an “all-new story” mission. Developers plan to closely monitor the open beta for new issues and will address them accordingly. In addition, a lot of issues and vulnerabilities that were found during the closed beta have been discovered and resolutions have been identified for other cheating issues.

Another incentive for gamers to check out the beta is that they will get a “special in-game reward” for the full game after it arrives next month. The Division arrives on March 8 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

In addition, you can check out the latest gameplay trailer released for the game in the player below. The new video showcases the game’s Enemy Factions. These include The Rikers, Rioters, The Cleaners, and The Last Man Battalion.
