CD Projekt Red has released the latest trailer for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion, which arrives later this month. The new trailer features new gameplay footage and look at the game’s new region of Toussaint. You can check out the new preview in the player below.
The video almost starts out like a travel guide through the land of Toussaint, which is an isolated and lavish land that’s untouched by strife or war. However, it holds a very dark secret. If the trailer is to be believed, the region is almost as big as Ard Skellig. It’s a land of revelry and debauchery, however the Witcher Geralt of Rivia comes to down as Toussaint faces a grave threat that haunts the night. Geralt has to unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast that’s terrorizing the kingdom. All of Geralt’s trailers lead to dead ends, and he has to solve the mystery to survive the evil lurking in the night. It seems the new monsters look like gangly beasts with long claws.
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will be the last DLC release for the game. It features over 30+ hours of new content. It’s due out on May 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
