Arrowhead Game Studios Lands New Update

Helldivers 2 has received a major update from Arrowhead Game Studios. There are tons of changes, tweaks, and new tidbits. Here is a summary of the update.

A recent post on the website  declares:”‘Today we have a slightly bigger update for you all to assist in the liberation efforts of our galaxy as well as some new environmental threats to watch out for.”

The level cap has been raised to 150. There will be new environmental effects such as blizzards and sandstorms. Operation modifiers that increase stratagem cooldown times have been reduced by half. The ‘Destroy Command Bunkers’ mission has been made more difficult as well.

A number of weapons and stratagems have been buffed to improve their damage and functionality. These include the Guard Dog, which now restores full ammo from supply boxes. Heavy armor now reduces damage by 10% and medium armor reduces damage by 5%.

Retrieve Essential Personnel

• Moved the enemy spawn points further away from the objective to give players a fairer chance of defending the location.
• There are fewer civilians required to complete the mission on higher difficulties.

• Now has more objective locations, and the mission was too easy before compared to other missions.
• It can now appear in operations from difficulty 5.

• Collision mesh has been slightly increased in size for more forgiveness
• Changed shield poses so that less of the Helldiver is exposed
• Addressed bug where parts of the Helldiver would become vulnerable while using the shield in first person

While there are some buffs, there are also some nerfs. The Heavy Machine Gun has had its max RPM reduced from 1200 RPM to 950 RPM, Bile Titans can no longer be stunned, Patriot Exosuit rockets will only penetrate armor when directly hit, and more.
