Will The Division’s Dark Zone Ever Become Balanced? Find Out What Ubisoft Is Working on to Fix It!

by on March 15, 2016

It seems one thing players are having an issue with for Tom Clancy’s The Division is how imbalanced the Dark Zone component turned out to be. During a recent community livestream event (via Gamespot) community developer Hamish Bode said that Ubisoft is aware of the problems and is working on making adjustments to the game as a result. During a recent update for the game, the Trained Talent item was disabled. A number of other changes were made to experience gains and drop rates for items and currency. Some players were not happy with these changes.

Bode stated that balancing the Dark Zone is “definitely a priority for the development team.” He added that, “[Ubisoft is] looking at all of those things at the moment.” Bode also hinted that players can expect some surprises soon in terms of high-level gear that will be released.

Whether or not Ubisoft is able to adequately address these problems for fans remains to be seen. Tom Clancy’s The Division is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game was released on march 8 and broke Ubisoft sales record in just 24 hours. It is among the top four new game IP launches in history.
