Throne and Liberty will be opening its doors to run a special technical test using selected players only. The MMO will is a new release from NCSOFT being published by Amazon.
According to a community post, a group of players and guilds will participate in the technical test. The test will run on on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S for a cross-play technical test. The studio will conduct the process under NDA protocols.
In addition, participants will receive email invitations by September 14th. This way they can begin testing Throne and Liberty on September 19th at 2 PM PT until October 3rd at 7 PM PT. Feedback is expected to help the team polish the game for its global release.
Furthermore, the test parameters are set in Solisium and explore the world. Players can participate in the following activities:
- test out some of its verticality,
- take part in field events,
- challenge a few dungeons,
- and even fight some of the large world bosses of Throne and Liberty.
Moreover, using the environment effectively will be essential for these large-scale boss fights. You’ll also be able to participate in guild battles that determine territory and loot. You can also take on some castle sieges
During a recent interview, Amazon mentioned they had been listening to feedback along with NCSOFT. They are working on the global build and are looking forward to gathering more information as more players try it out. The company stated,
“Players around the world will benefit from the level of care and detail that is being put into development and addressing player concerns, and we’ll be able to talk more about specific improvements soon.”
Even as Amazon looks for more opportunities to get a stronger footing in the gaming industry, it must protect its image as a mega store. However, should developers find that it competes with them, it may begin to lose ground.
NCSoft Corporation, based in South Korea, is known for developing MMORPGs.They developed the games Lineage and Guild Wars.
