Tavernlight Games Partners with ExitLag
The developers at Tavernlight Games have been experiencing server issues since Ravendawn’s 1.0 release. The company has set up a 30-day partnership for players experiencing connectivity issues.
Players have been having difficulty connecting to Ravendawn, a 2D sandbox MMO, since it launched on January 16th, 2024. This has resulted in terrible ping issues, which caused the developers to apologize recently
“We will not rest until Ravendawn is an incredibly smooth experience for everyone playing, that is our promise to you.” The team states before thanking players for their patience.
The partnership follows Tavernlight Games‘ agreement with ExitLag, a data routing service that helps reduce pings and routes traffic more effectively. Players have 30 free days of ExitLag as part of their partnership with Ravendawn.
Notably, the studio believed this partnership would help lower disconnections, lag, and jitter in the animations. The initiative is a stopgap measure, as the problems persist, and Tavernlight is frustrated that they haven’t yet been resolved.
Aside from the lag issues, the Angerhorn team has also recently disabled the marketplace due to ongoing server issues. They are working to restore the marketplace, but they are also considering some quality-of-life updates.
A relieving announcement last night stated that Tavernlight had adjusted the requirement for unlocking additional plots on community land, allowing players to have a greater amount of space to farm and raise livestock.
In the meantime, Tavernlight Games will fix the server issues. Those who have currently experienced problems can obtain ExitLag completely free of charge by following the instructions on the official partnership blog.
Since Ravendawn is a player-driven economy, many gamers flock to the portal. It is your choice whether you want to craft new equipment, potions, boats, or even house decorations yourself or get them from someone else who has. There are ten professions in Ravendawn, five of which are Gathering and five of which are Crafting.
