Ravenwood Academy New Prequel Trailer

A new single-player game, Ravenwood Academy: A Wizard101 Story, has been announced by Kingsisle Entertainment. The game will feature some familiar Wizard101 characters and will serve as a prequel to the MMORPG.

The Ravenwood Academy team describes it as a life simulation, role-playing game, and visual novel. You are a student at the school trying to balance your class schedule and outside activities.

It will also include extracurricular activities such as investigating magical mysteries, getting to know your classmates and teachers, and playing minigames. Since this is a single player prequel, some characters will be past versions of Wizard101 characters.

Ravenwood Academy is a standalone game, so you won’t have to be a Wizard101 fan to enjoy it. Player choices, intrigue, and classes await.

Try to balance your schedule and decide what activities matter most to you, so maybe you’ll have time for a school dance or you may be compelled to solve an ongoing mystery at the same time.

The game involves investigating, solving problems, getting answers, and ultimately, making choices that will affect what ending you receive. There are plenty of clues that you must solve. Some will reveal hard truths that can transform friends into rivals.

Throughout the course of the game, Kingsisle teases intrigue, clues, possible faculty trials, or the need to plead a case. It can also be a chance to save the reputation of a friend who has been accused of doing something wrong. Or it can be an opportunity to remain silent. Close friendship can roll into romance, and so forth.
