The Pokemon GO Plus device, which is an accessory to Pokemon GO and would allow players to use features on it instead of constantly looking at their phone, has been delayed.
The device was originally set for a July release, but now, it’s been pushed back to September. Though Nintendo made the announcement of the delay, they did not state why the device was getting delayed. Whether it be through manufacturing problem, or something else entirely.
Regardless, this is a hit to Nintendo and Niantic, as Pokemon GO fever is sweeping the nations that have the game, and this device would no doubt have sold out the moment of its release. In fact, pre-orders of the device are not only sold out, but resales on Ebay are already going for over $100.
