Overwatch Summer Games Isn’t One-Time Thing!
Overwatch was already a massive game when it launched. And with new heroes being released, and new content coming out, it appears to be growing even bigger.
The most recent addition was the Summer Games event, no doubt meant to honor the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio that are about to take place. However, like the Olympics, the event won’t last. But in a statement to IGN, they teased that there would be more events, and much more content, coming down the line.
“This is our very first seasonal event in Overwatch,” said Blizzard in a press release, “but there are more on the horizon. We’re not quite ready to reveal our plans, but you can expect to see more festive Loot Box items, maps, and modes in the future.”
