Nightingale’s Offline Mode is Coming This Week
Inflexion CEO Aaryn Flynn’s short video tease emphasizes the powerful impact the community has had on the game so far. After announcing offline mode and gameplay improvements, Nightingale’s developer update confirmed that 0.3 is coming this week.
The team says offline mode was something they had planned long ago. So after several months of work, it is finally becoming a reality, known as version 1. There are still improvements to be made and some things that won’t work initially.
Nightingale’s Offline Mode is Coming This Week
Using the offline mode requires a new character, and that character can’t be transferred online later. In the same way, current online characters won’t be usable offline. Offline mode won’t include multiplayer features. However, the creatures and puzzles will be the same allowing for only single-player mode.
Another important issue worth mentioning is mods. At launch, Steam Deck will not support offline mode, but they will add it in future updates. Also, mods will not work in offline mode. They said that mods are not ready for offline mode yet, and they’ll implement it later.
The company promises not to take disciplinary actions against anyone who tries to use mods.
In addition, this week’s update will also enable building from storage. Bound Marksmen will be able to aim from an extended range, and creatures will come in tiers, with the harder ones dropping better loot.
The update will bring tons of additional features which will be highlighted in the patch notes. Watching the video will add further insights and heighten your concept of what’s coming.
