by on May 26, 2016

Warhorse Studios officially announced this week that the upcoming action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been delayed to 2017. According to the announcement, the delay is in order to achieve the quality standards the studio and fans expect for the game. On top of that, the developers announced a new patch for the game’s beta access. The new patch includes a number of stability improvements and six new subtitle language packs. These include subtitles in German, French, Russian, Polish, Czech and Chinese Subtitles.

With the delay, Warhorse hopes to give the game some extra exceptional treatment and polishing. Warhorse is also taking fan feedback into account to finish the game and hope to get more feedback with the latest patch. A new release date for the game is being planned for an announcement later this year. As of now, the estimated release time frame is 2017. The game is being developed for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Here’s a list of new features for the latest beta patch for the game:

  • Subtitles in English, German, French, Czech, Polish, Russian and Chinese
  • Rescripted mechanics to remove known questing bugs
  • Cleared known game crash occurrences
  • Improved dialogue system
  • Graphical improvements: Cleared render problems connected to the SVOGI-Technology. (Sparse Voxel Octree Global Illumination)

The beta for Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available now for the PC. It includes part of the main game’s storyline, multiple quests, combat systems, weaponry and one large-scale battle.
