Is The Next Elder Scrolls Game Being Announced At E3? Details Here!

by on February 14, 2016

Bethesda is going to be having yet another solo press conference at the Electronic Gaming Expo this year. Last year was their first ever solo event, and they revealed several major announcements. Including Fallout 4’s true announcement, Fallout Shelter, Doom, Battlecry, and Dishonored 2. Now though, many sites are claiming that the “big” announcement for the upcoming press conference will be the next title in the long standing, and mega popular, Elder Scrolls series.

If you recall, the last “true” title in the franchise was Skyrim, which made a big splash amongst both gamers and critics. To the extent that the title brought in numerous Game Of The Year Awards. Bethesda has been very vehement in that if there was to be another Elder Scrolls game, it would be done in the proper amount of time and not “rushed out” like other companies have done with their franchises.

Should this be true, the major question is one of release dates. One site believes it could be as soon as next year, while others claim more in the 2018-2019 area depending on how far they are in development Bethesda is when they announce it.
