Cross-Play Could Come To Overwatch
Any new features coming to Overwatch? How about Cross-Play?
Overwatch has been making a lot of waves recently. Including introducing the 31st hero, and being announced for Switch, the team saying they’d love to have one of their characters in Overwatch, and more. And during an interview, they hinted that they would be up for doing Cross-Play in the game…if they could get it to work.
“Cross-play is something that would definitely be compelling for players, and as a player, I would love to see it happen,” said Producer Wes Yanagi while speaking to GameSpot. “The truth is that implementing cross-play for Overwatch is more difficult than people realize.”
That being said, they are heavily considering it:
“We are exploring how to bring this to Overwatch, but do not have anything to share at this time,” said the producer.
