Just How Close Is Final Fantasy XV to Completion? Find Out With Square Enix’s Latest FFXV Progress Report!

This week, Square Enix released a new progress report video for Final Fantasy XV on their official YouTube channel. You can check out the video (which is in Japanese) below. Square Enix’s stream beings at about 16-minute mark. The video features new gameplay footage and also a look at the game’s combat system.

In the video, game director Hajime Tabata and global marketing director Akio Ofuji discuss the progress of the game and how close it is to completion. The video also looks at some concept art from the game.

In addition, the team also announced (via Polygon) that Square Enix will be holding a special event for the game, Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV, on March 30 in Los Angeles, California at 7:00 pm PST. The event will be held at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. This event will cover it’s official launch date, extra items and options that will be sold with the game and more. The event will also be live streamed for those who will not be able to attend it in person.

Final Fantasy XV is due out this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
