Black Desert Online Gets a Pirate-Themed Update! Get All the Details Here!

Daum Games has officially announced a new pirate-themed update for Black Desert Online and part two of the Mediah expansion. A new trailer for the latest expansion was also released. The full patch notes for the May 4 update can be found at this link. The new Mediah update features new lands to explore, including the following:

• Kuit Islands (Pirate Islands) – Adventurers brave enough to challenge the wicked Pirates of Kuit Islands be returning with fine booty if they be skilled enough not t’walk th’ plank

• Tungrad Forest – Only the mightiest scallywags should enter Tungrad Forest, or rival landlubbers be eating them faster than a bad case of scurvy

• Hasrah Dungeon – A dark and mysterious cavern filled with the broken remains of ancient golems that are sending chills down your spine soon as you look at it

For the new update, players will also be able to loot rum from enemies and turn it into exclusive treasure, such as decorations for customizing player outfits. Another new addition for the update will be daily quests in celebration of Mother’s Day. A new gameplay preview for the Mediah Part 2 update is available in the player below.
