Behold a New Trailer for The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD! Check Out All the New Details Here!

Earlier this week, there were a number of leaks online regarding the functionality for the Wolf Link Amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Now, Nintendo has dropped a brand-new trailer for the upcoming HD remaster and its new Amiibo pack-in. You can check out the full trailer in the player below.

The trailer finally confirms that the leaks by Amazon were legitimate. The Wolf Link Amiibo can unlock a new dungeon for the HD version of the game, which is called the “Cave of Shadow.” The area has a set of challenges for players using the Wolf Link and Midna’s abilities to defeat hordes of enemies. When the player completes the challenges of the cave, the number of remaining hearts can be recorded to the Amiibo. Later, players can return to the Cave of Shadow to try and break their previous records.

In addition, the trailer also confirmed that the Link and Toon Link Amiibos restore arrows for Link in-game. Also, using Ganondorf Amiibo causes Link to take extra damage. So, it’s really only useful if you want a greater challenge and level of difficulty for the game. The Princess Zelda and Shiek Amiibo figurines will restore hearts for Link in the game.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is scheduled for release for the Wii U in Europe and North America on March 4. The HD version will arrive in Japan on March 10.
