What’s Bethesda Doing to Fix the Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC? Find Out Here!

by on May 23, 2016

Apparently some Fallout 4 gamers are still experiencing some major gameplay issues with the recent release of the latest DLC expansion for the game, Far Harbor. Bethesda Softworks has now addressed community concerns with a new post on the company’s community forums. You can read Bethesda’s statement below.

Per the update from the Bethesda staff: “We made optimizations based on the Far Harbor beta feedback, but understand some people are experiencing issues. We are actively working on more improvements.  As we have news and information, we’ll update this post. Thank you for playing Fallout 4.”

The post does not mention any specific details on issues that have been afflicting the update. Gamespot‘s report indicates there were some issues with the frame rate for the Far Harbor DLC in certain sections, where it has not looked great due to lighting and atmospheric effects. However, the Bethesda community post does not specify what is actually being fixed or worked on. Obviously, sometimes problems for a game can’t always be anticipated before release. However, there are other times where a game should get more time to receive polish before its launch.

Fallout 4 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Hopefully, the issues are worked out and future DLC releases for Fallout 4 will run more smoothly.
