SEGA officially revealed the new Lizardmen race for Total War: Warhammer II. You can check out the new in-engine gameplay trailer for the Lizardmen in the player below.
The Lizardmen in Warhammer hail from the jungles of Lustria. They are an ancient race of cold-blooded warriors, and they serve the Old Ones. The Lizardmen view themselves as enactors of the Great Plan and protectors of the world. SEGA has now revealed three of the four playable races for Warhammer II, including the High Elves, the Dark Elves, and now the Lizardmen. There is one other race that has not yet been announced for the game.
For Warhammer II, the Lizardmen’s civilization is in ruin due to daemonic incursions of The Great Cataclysm. Some of the Slann Mage priests managed to survive to help rebuild their people. The Lizardmen seek to restore order in the world. The race is made up of the humble and nimble Skink and the the larger Carnasaur. The Carnasaurs are the top apex predators of the Lizardmen race.
Total War: Warhammer II is due out later this year for Windows PC. You can also check out some new screens for the Lizardmen in the player below. Click on the thumbnails to see the full-size images.
