Torment: Tides of Numenera Set for February 2017 Release! Check Out New Trailers Here!

The release date has finally been revealed for Torment: Tides of Numenera. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, inXile Entertainment and Techland Publishing officially announced today that Torment: Tides of Numenera will have a 2017 release. The game is set to launch on February 28, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The game was crowdfunded, and inXile also released a new trailer for the game in the player below.

Besides the Day One Edition, players will also be able to purchase of the Collector’s Edition. Another video featuring the details of the pre-order bonuses can be found below for the massively crowdfunded RPG.

The game is going to be a thematic successor to Planescape: Torment and explore similar themes. Here’s an official synopsis:

Explore Earth one billion years in the future in the science-fantasy setting of Numenera. Discover the Ninth World built on the bones of eight advanced civilizations and leave your own mark on it. Make thousands of essential choices, face the consequences, and meet death incarnated as you seek the answer to the ultimate question: What does one life matter?
