Super Cube 3D Arrives on Steam.
Super Cube is now live on Steam. Who? Yes. In addition to the stream of weird MMO games out there, we now have Super Cube 3D on Steam. This is a party platformer where players hop along to overcome increasingly difficult challenges.
Indies abound on Steam, and each one is unique and fun, but here’s a quick pointer to StreetWare Studios’ Super Cube 3D, which launched on Steam this week. Super Cube 3D runs solo, or as an MMO with dozens of other people.
Aside from the mazes and races, you can communicate with other blocks using the in-game chat. While the game claims to be an MMO, so far only 4 players have been online at peak times. A player’s review suggests that the game can be completed in one day, indicating that the content is limited.
After Steam launch, Streetware Studio has been fixing bugs, building out new content, and working on an Android version of the game. The game was given positive reviews thus far, but it’s still too early to tell if it will meet player expectations.
If you enjoy puzzles and platform games, you might want to keep your eye on the game. It won’t be for everyone, and those interested in a flourishing MMO platforming community may want to hold off until the game matures and the Mobile players jump in.
