No Man’s Sky Won’t Require PS Plus Subscription!
Gamers have been wondering if those who wish to play No Man’s Sky on PS4 would need a PS Plus membership, which would cost extra, to access the online features of the game, which is the case in many games on the system.
Sony released a statement, as found by Game Informer, noted that this will not be the case for No Man’s Sky.
“PS Plus won’t be a requirement to play online, however you will need to be connected to the internet for your discoveries to register with the universal atlas”.
For those who don’t know, “The atlas is a souped up version of a leaderboard, allowing players to leave indelible marks on the one-time procedurally generated universe.”
No Man’s Sky releases August 9th.
