Myth of Empires Launches With New Map and Mod Tools
The multiplayer sandbox survival MMO Myth of Empires has launched on PC through Steam. Explore the world, gather resources, and craft a society and an army to match your playing style.
With Myth of Empires you have everything you need to set up your empire. You start as a peasant ready to explore the world, learn how to gather and craft, build your own base, and even expand.
Myth of Empire allows you to tame horses into mounts and even race them. To succeed, you can play on either a PVP server or a PVE server. For the PVE players, there are server events like simulated fortress and prefecture battles which are designed for large scale cross-server battles.
Your homeland must be built up and defended, guilds and alliances formed, and you must expand your territory and recruit your own army. If your army is to be an imperial force, it must take over new territory and vanquish enemies.
With 1.0’s launch, two maps are available, including Dongzhou, a new map that comes with islets, a sea access point, shores, ships, and volcanoes. The map also contains biomes to explore, a day-night cycle, NPCs of different cultures to meet, and much more.
The objective of the game is to extend the original sandbox gameplay to include difficult and varied terrain. Angela Game has included robust mod tools, private servers, and more. The game has hundreds of historically accurate weapons and gear items.
With the full launch, some new items have been added, such as base defenses, wooden oxen, and new combat equipment such as siege wagons, ballistas, climbing tools, gliders, and catapults. They have also added an emphasis on the use of the environment and verticality.
There are already some music instruments available separately, and the team promises more civilizations, including Persian, Greek, and Egyptian maps, are on their way.
