Moonlight Sculptor: Dark Gamer Launches Today
XLGames Studio announced the launch of a new version of its MMORPG, Moonlight Sculptor, today. Moonlight Sculptor: Dark Gamer will be launched at 11:ooa.m KST to the Asian gaming market.
The studio has been preparing for today’s launch for about a month with pre-registrations, character reservations, and game pre-downloads as it uses the original IP of the novel, Moonlight Sculptor.
In addition, the studio clarified that the new release is a separate game. Moonlight Sculptor: Dark Gamer will be available for Android, Apple, and PC.
Furthermore, several events are in store to celebrate the occasion. These include
- mission-filled season pass,
- launch-special 7-day daily missions,
- 28-day check-in,
- launch-exclusive special check-in,
They will also feature guild check-in events that will be available with the game’s release.
Notably, the story takes place sixty years after Moonlight Sculptor: Weed, in which the main protagonist conquered the Versailles Continent and established peace in Royal Road. However, darkness enters the realm, disrupting harmony and causing chaos.
The main battle will revolve around how the great adventurer Weed disappeared for unknown reasons. Players will need to muster their courage, assemble a group, and once again take back Versailles.
There will be several characters in the game, each with their own abilities and skill sets. This will provide players with a greater variety of characters to choose from and allow for more depth in character customization.
Players who are interested in Moonlight Sculptor: Dark Gamer can register for the game through the game’s official website. According to a spokesperson from the studio:
“XLGAMES embarked on the development and service of the game with a vision to introduce a new standard of gaming quality while maintaining the existing Moonlight Sculptor service by Kakao Games.”
As the sequel to Moonlight Sculptor, Dark Gamer will mark the series’ return. Moonlight Sculptor was announced for a complete shutdown by the developers on May 4th.
