Lord of the Rings Online Launches Spring Festival

by on March 19, 2024

Spring Festival is a popular part of the Lord of the Rings Online event. Players can participate by visiting Bree-land Festival Grounds, Duillond in Ered Luin, Thorin’s Hall in Ered Luin, or Brockenborings in The Shire. They can take part in a variety of quests and activities at each of these locations.

Bree-land Festival Grounds includes the possibility of aiding herbalists, assisting Arn Bulrush, participating in the Hedge Maze, racing horses, eating pie, and much more. Additionally, Bree’s Market Square allows players to help Avery Crabapple win the heart of the (crab)apple of his eye. Or according to the post

Help herbalists and learn an interesting story: Start by speaking to Arn Bulrush, help the herbalists, then speak to Haerandel nearby. Note: “Born Aloft in Spring-Time” is only able to be run once per yearly event.  ”

Sigismond North-Took asks players to prepare a special brew for him or take a walk through Greenfields. It’s oddly violent “Shrew Stomping” in Duillond, but it’s okay to dance. Brockenborings is more relaxed, with players being able to prepare whatever they like for Sigismond North-Took.

During the Spring Festival event, players will be able to dance with dwarves in Thorin’s Hall and assist Makr in finding their lost friend. Spring Leaves can be traded for rewards during this event.

A post on the community forum provided guidelines on how to participate. The post states

“The first thing you should do after logging in when the Spring Festival is active is check your Quests Actions Available UI for a free map to the Bree-land Festival Grounds.

“Make sure to speak to Sergeant Tom, the Spring Festival Rewards Vendor, to pick up your repeatable quest “A Taste of Spring” and his other repeatable wrapper quests for the event. Completing “A Taste of Spring” will progress completion for the other wrapper quests, so make sure you pick them up when available.”
