It’s been confirmed by Digerati and Bacon Bandit Games that the acclaimed turn-based RPG Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey will receive a Wii U release this week. The game arrives on the Wii U on July 28 in North America and Europe for $9.99/9.99 EURO. The game was highly reviewed for Windows PC and Mac OS, and now it gets a console release for the Wii U. Previously, the game was also released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. More details are available on that version at this link.
The game features the grim reapers Grimm and Rose, who need help to defeat a legion of monsters, ghosts and evil bunnies using the power of words. Essentially, the game is a hybrid of Scrabble and a turn-based RPG. Features for the Wii U release feature the Endless Mode, where players can choose their favorite background art, music, character, weapon and letter tiles and how long they can survive in the mode. Letter Quest also has 70 quests for players.
The built-in dictionary for Letters Quest has over 192,000 English words that will also be frequently updated over the life of the game. Letter Quest: Grimm’s Journey is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Windows PC and Mac. The game arrives on Nintendo Wii U on July 28.
