Game developer Intrepid Studios has quelled reigning speculations on the Alpha 2 tests. The studio has indicated that Ashes of Creation will enter the second phase in early 2024.

Game developers Intrepid Studios have worked tirelessly on this game since its inception. Ashes of Creation has garnered a significant following of gamers who have eagerly awaited each new development milestone and the announcement of the next Alpha.

In a statement, the studio stated that Alpha 2 will be in 2024, which means testing will take place outside of this year, and represents another major step forward for the game.

IWay back in 2017, Ashes of Creation’s Kickstarter campaign became a resounding success, raising over $3.2 million, more than double its initial goal. It entered the Alpha 1 phase several years after the Kickstarter campaign ended.

As part of this phase, a multitude of tests were conducted in 2021 from July 14th through September 7th. This gave the developers the opportunity to gather vital feedback, make necessary adjustments, and expand what the game can offer prior to Alpha 2.

Recently, Intrepid Studios showcased some of the gameplay players can expect during the next Alpha phase for Ashes of Creation.

In addition, the studio just ended its preorders for Alpha 2.  Sadly, this means that players who wish to get in on Alpha 2 won’t be able to buy their way in as they did during Alpha 1.

Plus, with 2024 rapidly approaching, Ashes of Creation is gearing up for its Alpha 2 phase. While more details will be revealed as the playtest nears, Intrepid stated in a recent tweet, that players can expect “a completely new experience.”

Moreover, It is clear that the announcement of the new phase has rekindled the community’s excitement for the game, even though details about the massive changes for this phase have been trickling in over the consecutive developer updates.
