Find Out the Release Window for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Here!

The Kingdom Hearts series will continue later this winter. Square Enix officially announced today the release window for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and a new gameplay trailer was also released.  You can check out the new video for the collection in the player below. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD launches globally later this December.

The new trailer showcases Aqua’s battle against the Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage, along with new HD gameplay from Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. There’s also a look at some new scenes from KHχ Back Cover that sheds light on the mysterious Foretellers.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is a high-definition remaster collection of the Kingdom Hearts series. It features a remaster of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, two new pieces of content to the Kingdom Hearts series, including: Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, which has a new tale of the Foretellers in HD cinematics; and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage, which is an new game that takes place after the events of Birth by Sleep from the perspective of Aqua.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be available later this December. It will only be available for PlayStation 4.
