Final Fantasy XV Difficulty System Explained

Final Fantasy XV is set to a culmination of many things. From a deep and intricate story, to a fulfilling gameplay experience, and more, it’s clear that Square Enix is taking every step possible to ensure the game is up to the potential that many gamers believe it can be.

As an RPG, there are many elements to the title that fans wish to know about, as such, the developers of the game have taken to the official Final Fantasy XV forum to answer some fans questions. First, is the difficulty system that Final Fantasy XV will employ. lead game designer Takizawa Masashi stated the following on the topic:

“The equivalent to difficulty level settings in FFXV is a system where you can switch between different battle modes,” reads the answer.

“By having this ability to switch modes, we want to make it so that both players who like action oriented, technical gameplay and also those who want to fight at a slower, more relaxed pace can all enjoy the combat in their own style. This switching system is a key part of the gameplay that we decided to introduce based on the feedback we received from the Episode Duscae demo.”

Final Fantasy XV will arrive in 2016.
