This year’s Moogle Treasure event will feature some slight changes from its previous runs. Traditionally, the event had no set schedule and would run until the next major update. This year, however, it has a start and end date.
As of January 30, 2024, the first event will begin which will allow players to earn Irregular Tomestones of Genesis I. These can be earned by completing objectives and participating in different activities.
In addition to the newfound currency, players can use it to shop for hairstyles, cosmetics, and the Mameshiba Necklace, inspired by pups.
It will be available from January 30 to March 11. There will be an expanded set of challenges referred to as the Mogpendium, where players can complete standard, weekly, mini, and larger scale objectives in exchange for irregular tomestones.
Itinerant Moogles can be found on the lower decks of Limsa Lominsa, New Gridania, and on the steps of Nald in Ul’dah. The Itinerant Moogles will provide further rewards during a future event.
