Elder Scrolls Online Removing “Content Barriers”!

by on June 13, 2016

During its press conference at E3, the team at Zenimax revealed that they are going to make it easier for players in The Elder Scrolls online to access all areas of the game in one go. Regardless of level or certain requirements. They title this removal of content barriers, “One Tauriel”. More details were given on the official website for Bethesda:

“It will soon be easier than ever to jump into The Elder Scrolls Online and play with your friends, thanks to the newly announced One Tamriel. Maybe you haven’t had a chance to hop in and play at all, or maybe your friends are playing and you can’t join them on their journey because they’re at a higher level than you.

Starting this fall, all content barriers will be removed and you’ll be able to experience everything Tamriel has to offer, no matter what level you are, making it the perfect time to begin your journey (or maybe start fresh with a totally new character). Even if you’re a complete beginner, you can quest with your veteran friends and the world will adjust.

There will be no restrictions on Alliances or questing, allowing you to group up with other players and travel to any area of Tamriel. One Tamriel does not, however, affect the PvP areas, and Alliance restrictions will still be enforced there as the war rages on.”

Hmm, dislike this one. Part of the game is working your way towards access, maybe they're just doing this to make the game easier in preparation of the next game being on the horizon, but I still think the whole point of the game is working your way up the ladder instead of being able to go wherever you want without fear.
