Check Out the E3 2016 Trailer for Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor – Martyr!

Neocore Games revealed new gameplay footage for the upcoming action RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr at E3 2016 last week. A video of that footage has now been released online in the form of a brand-new trailer, and you can check it out in the player below. The E3 2016 trailer features a look at the pre-alpha build for the upcoming game.

Neocore Games also revealed more details on the Inquisitorial Campaign. The campaign offers players an open sandboxed world where thousands of randomly generated planets, moons and ships are waiting to be explored. The pre-alpha build also features some new gameplay features and mechanics for the game. The open-world gameplay is definitely on full display here.

So far this is looking like a fun and exciting addition to the Warhammer universe. The gameplay so far looks a little reminiscent of the 2011 game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, which offered a third-person shooter/action game for the franchise. This looks like it is a spiritual successor to that game game in some respects. That one awesome monster with the armor and skull looks like a really awesome design.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is due out later next year. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
