Bethesda Opens New Studio In Quebec

by on December 9, 2015

Bethesda Game Studios, known for their Fallout and Elder Scrolls series, has opened up a new game studio in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

According to Todd Howard of Bethesda, the developer has worked with “very talented developers” in Montreal for quite some time, and the company “decided it was time to open a studio there.”

The new studio will be headed up by veteran Yves Lachance, who worked with Behavior Interactive, the studio behind the Fallout spinoff title Fallout Shelter.

It is not known at this time what style of game the new studio will make. However, it is not improbable that the titles will connect to the larger Bethesda universe in some way. Not unlike how Fallout Shelter came to be.
