Pokemon Nintendo Direct Coming Later Today!

Nintendo has revealed that an 8-minute Pokemon-themed Nintendo Direct will be happening later today at 10AM Eastern Time/9AM Central. Though they did not note what the Direct would be about.

There’s a lot of possibilities that need to be considered. Being that E3 is next week, it could be that Nintendo is going to announce a new Pokemon game now to free up space for new announcements at their E3 Spotlight. Or, they could be doing a news roundup of sorts for their other current mobile titles, it’s truly hard to say.

For fans, there’s a big desire to get a new Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch, with a big rumor going around that Pokemon Stars (the third title in the Sun/Moon games) could be that title.Or, it could be a new form of Pokemon, not unlike what Pokken Tournament was for the Wii U.

Either way, with 8 minutes, it’s clear Nintendo wants to show it off, then talk about for it a bit. So head to the Nintendo website to watch it once the time comes.
