Albion Onlion Release Dev Video for Paths to Glory
Albion Online is closing its 23rd season and as July approaches will release a new update called Paths to Glory. According to the studio’s blog posts, the next update focuses on the Albion Journal.
“At the heart of this update is the Albion Journal, which presents players with challenges and offers valuable new rewards. But this update also contains a host of other features, including some specific requests from the community.”
Notably, the video is presented by the Game Director Robin Henkys. He highlights the new features that will become available in Paths to Glory. More so, players can expect improvements in game mechanics and the overall lore.y releases next month.
In addition, Paths to Glory will make several overhauls to content and player rolls. Yet the most distinctive changes are noticeable in the enhancements made to Guild Island and the new weapons added.
Guild Island Improvements
- Guilds can now own multiple islands
- Up to one island for each Royal City, plus Caerleon
- Guild Islands now visually reflect the biome and atmosphere of their parent city
Weapon Changes
- Players can double-overcharge their weapons in combat
- This prolongs the overcharge duration
- However, it also increases the risk of the weapon breaking afterward
- Players can now use all spells on weapons of Tier 4 and above
- This will increase gameplay variety for lower tiers
Major Roads of Avalon Changes
Furthermore, the team wants users to know that they have been listening to their feedback. This is the reason for the major tweaks on the Roads of Avalon.
“The most common request we heard was for changes to the Roads of Avalon. Many players said they couldn’t find the content they were looking for in the Roads, but our data showed activity there to be higher than ever.”
Major changes to the road include:
- an extension of the open world,
- creating interesting connections between places and offering opportunities for small groups.
Stay tuned for the Paths to Glory release coming this July.
