Path of Exile 2: Witch Gameplay Trailer
Path of Exile is an Action RPG featuring dark, moody, atmospheric, and a unique gear progression system. One can experiment with various skills. Yet, Path of Exile II is just more than all that.
It is best to get started with Path of Exile II, either the Monk or Witch. These are two new classes well worth your time. You can always switch later and try the other.
Notably, witches function as a pet class, similar to Necromancers in the Diablo series, but with the use of specific skills. One is able to summon gruesome scorpions and three varieties of skeletons to assist them in combat.
These skeletons are unlocked through the use of uncut gems that you can refine. Once unlocked, use the ability to summon your favorite skeleton warriors.
- standard sword and shield skeletons,
- skeletons with a bow and arrow,
- or skeletons that throw bombs.
According to the gameplay experience of one writer on MMORG, the witch class is one of the best in Path of Exile. Here is how he summed it up.
“I opted to summon more sword and shield skeletons since a weapon I had already allowed me to summon a total of three based on a passive it had, which upped my army of skeleton warriors to fight my battles for me. That said, the Witch is a far more involved class.
“My skeletons were weak, even as I progressed through the passive skill tree, which immediately began to branch out in a myriad of different directions. It wouldn’t be Path of Exile without an expansive passive skill tree, though, or the ability to absolutely wreck your own builds with a clear lack of foresight.”
Enjoy the trailer, and if you haven’t yet, go ahead and give Path of Exile a try. Remember, not because we liked a class means you might find it just as great. Walk around and get your own feel.
