I've seen a couple of my friends talk about it and I became quite curious. Could someone around here make a summary for me so I can understand what this game is based on?
There are a lot of things different about this game than most normal MMORPGs. Probably the biggest is that ´quests´ are actually dungeons that you have to yourself. There are hundreds of quests, each with their own dungeon that you enter and is instanced only for you. These quests can be done in a group, solo, or solo with henchmen. The fact that all quests are instanced means that they have a really RP feel to them because there are traps, ambushes and puzzles that you must deal with yourself. Something that is not possible in normal MMORPGs where other players would interfere. DDO is currently my favorite MMORPG.
