I really enjoyed playing through the brotherhood of steel stories. What was your favourite faction / story?
If I recall correctly, weren't there only a handful of quests for BoS? I remember coming across them in the bunker, and I was surprised to see them there. I don't know which faction I liked the most. Maybe I didn't like any of them. Actually I'll go with Robert House, and, yes, I murdered him later in the game.
The House quests were the bulk of the game. Playing hardcore with the wild wasteland setting was fun. However I really like being NCR, the Rangers are just too cool in my eyes.
Yeah, there were only a few, but they were so much fun to me!! Short and sweet ;P. Pretty sure I murdered him afterwards too. That's always a fun part > : 3
It would be cool to piece your own armor together. Like the ability to attach stuff like some of the raiders and super mutants did.
Yeah, this sounds really cool. The super mutants had pretty sweet armour, as did the wasteland punks. (forget what they're called xD)
Factions? Hmm. Well, I like House and NCR. Boomers are interesting, too. Though the artillery run is a bit much... Ah! I know! I like Followers of Apocalypse. The whole preserving and perpetuating knowledge, rebuilding the world angle they got going. Too bad they have no good ending...
I don't really know if my favourite are the NCR but I seem to accidentally side with them in my playthroughs. Since they're the "good" guys of the game, our goals sometimes coincide. I liked Mr. House the most, he was ambitious and one of the most interesting characters of the game. Don't know if he counts as a "faction". I betrayed him and eventually killed him in my first playthrough, then reloaded and replayed the last part differently.
My favorite is NCR because they are like the good guys in the game. I also like House too but NCR is my fave.
Oh man what where they called, the Bombers or something? The ones who lived in an abandoned air plane base? You guys know what im talking about right? I just liked their feel I guess.
NCR is definatley my favorite because they bring peice and order. Their army is much like an army you would find today. They have special forces e.g rangers, ceaser is cool the way he is based of romans but really im pretty sure the romans that lived a long time ago were not as evil as ceaser and ceaser sees his name like ki-sar, and if you look it up you find that the NCR has a small air force of vertibirds, but if the royal marines, RAF and royal navy they would kick ass
I think you mean the Boomers. I also liked them for how developed their backstory was, and their quests were the most fun for me. I don't really remember much of the other factions except for the Brotherhood of Steel and the main ones.
The NCR is the most fleshed out in the game I think, so that's my favourite one. The Legion were too much evil for me, that the instant they let me in Caesar's room I just killed him. Didn't care at all for them, just wanted them dead, lol.
The Brotherhood Steel was pretty cool and all that, but my "award" definitely goes to NCR. The best faction in the game by far.
The White Glove society, definitely. I love the whole contrast between the sophisticated of their casino and the barbaric nature of their meals. It makes for a very interesting faction, and I hope they have a more fleshed-out equivalent on fallout 4.
Basically this. Took the words out of my mouth. Whenever I play Fallout, I try to be as peaceful as possible and I like to do what's right. Which is exactly the reason why NCR is my favorite faction.
