So I'm sure a lot of us here are fans of various Blizzard games, I mean I know that's one of the main reasons I started Hots. So we've seen heroes from all of Blizzards games, hell, we even have a hero from Overwatch, and the question now is, who do you want to see next? I'm happy we've gotten Xul, I was waiting for someone like him, and Medihv looks amazing, but in terms of who I want next... I'm going to have to go with Thunder King, or a Sha. I was a pretty big fan of MoP, and the entire thunderking isle/arc was awesome. I feel that he would be a pretty cool character.
While I don't have any preference regarding the character itself, I would prefer to see a support character next. Medivh is a very interesting hero, but the pool of support heroes is quite lacking at the moment. There are only 9, there are even more specialists which is a less vital role for the team. Especially these days with a dual support setup being popular and the additional ban or two it makes the choice of an effective support hero very limited.
I can't wait for Medivh, one of the only heroes I've been excited about since the game launched. Other than that, I don't have a preference when it comes to the character, but I would like to see a mage archer (imagine Jaina Proudmoore shooting arrows).
I'm not really familiar with blizzard's other games, so I can't throw any names out there. But I'd love to see heroes who play completely differently. Abathur, murky, the three vikings, cho gall... we already have some really different heroes but I'd love to see more. I wouldn't mind someone who would be simply concentrated on spawning different types of minions or even building certain buildings.
I don't really care about the characters specifically, as long as they are balanced and are challenging enough to learn and counter, I wouldn't mind if they throw in extras or whatever as characters. A balanced game is still the most important aspect of MOBAs, and no matter how many they edit or adjust, I wouldn't mind as long as I'm having fun.
I'm not looking for any specific characters or characteristics but I am hoping to see more support role heroes as that is my favorite role. This way I can have more to choose from.

Yes, you are right. The balance is the most important thing that any game need to have and the best fact is that it's already balanced.
Yup I know it's a bit weird because you rarely hear of people liking that role but for me it's the best because you have more to focus on other than just getting kills. To me that adds a bit more complexity that appeals to me.
I didn't like supports in the beginning... not at all. But later on I found Uther and started to like playing with him, those stuns are really handy.
I gravitated to the role immediately myself because I liked the fact that I didn't have to actively farm and it agree that stunning enemies feels very rewarding.
